Harberton Crescent, Chichester

extensions to Sussex home, architect designed renovations to family home

on site: a single storey rear and single storey side extension to a large family home in Chichester.

An existing conservatory has been demolished to make way for a new, single storey, rear extension increasing the living area. The extension is flat roofed with a pyramid style, glazed roof and French doors leading out on to the private, rear garden.

To the side a narrow, single storey extension, allows for a large, open plan kitchen / diner with utility room. This extension reflects the pitched roof of the existing garage.

The work has required pile foundations as the property is built on an old gravel pit.
